Hi! I use solid wood for vegetables & a separate solid wood for fruits- make sure its solid wood. Some wood cutting boards are wood pieces glued together. I use two different wood cutting boards because my veggie cutting board can retain some aroma from cutting onion and garlic. I prefer my fruits without a side taste of garlic😝. For meats I use glass, which is great for sanitizing however it is harder on your knives
